So Sad
This just in … David Foster Wallace is dead. This depresses me more than I would’ve imagined.

This depresses me.
Was he depressive? I forget… He was certainly deeply thoughtful/introspective. How sad. A suicide, no less.

He could be sort of bitter and coated most of his literary representation with a thick coat of irony. Still, I was pretty shocked, not to mention upset, by the news of his suicide.

Just sad to hear this. I really love his essays. They always seem to champion dignity and authenticity.
