Tuesday Hatred: Technically still on time edition

I hate it when bands play way too loud; I also hate the chilly sound and abrupt attack of synthesizer bass tones. I kind of hate that there exists a synthesizer whose interface is that of a mallet percussion instrument; it just seems weird and vaguely offensive to me.

  1. I hate that I’ve become so disconnected from The Weblog that I didn’t even notice this hadn’t been posted.

  2. I received some books from Amazon today (Cary Wolfe’s new one and two on animal sheltering from Nathan Winograd). All of them have scuffs on the covers and bent corners. This, I believe, is worthy of hate.

  3. I hate it when snot accumulates in my nose.

  4. I hate that band practice was delayed for an hour to discuss Israel-Palestine. I hate that I don’t have swift responses to right-wing Zionist talking points. I hate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but you don’t get points for that.
